New beginnings: from birth to the first days

Comprehensive Preparation for Birth and Beyond

Our Birth & Newborn Essentials course at the Reykjavík Birth Center is designed to empower and prepare you for a confident, positive birthing experience and the early days with your newborn.

Led by highly experienced midwives and University of Iceland lecturers, this course combines proven methods like Birth without Fear, Spinning Babies, Hypnobirthing, and more. We have combined these proven and known methods into one class to prepare you in the best way possible for birth and parenting.

This course brings together a small group of expectant parents for three interactive sessions during pregnancy. This supportive group setting allows you to absorb and revisit key information, ask questions, and connect with others on the same journey.
